{"id":8479,"date":"2014-09-28T09:22:23","date_gmt":"2014-09-28T09:22:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tigra.udgeneral.hu\/?page_id=8479"},"modified":"2024-04-29T10:40:46","modified_gmt":"2024-04-29T10:40:46","slug":"careers-2","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/tigra.hu\/en\/careers-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Careers"},"content":{"rendered":"<section class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<strong>Job Title<\/strong><br \/>\nTechnical Writer \u2013 Technical Communications<br \/>\n<strong>Location<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Travel<\/strong><br \/>\nDomestic and\/or International travel up to 10% is required<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nThe position of Technical Writer is a core, entry-level departmental role and appointees are expected to<br \/>\nperform whole core departmental tasks; albeit more basic tasks by comparison to Senior Technical<br \/>\nWriters and above.<br \/>\nTechnical Writers will perform some of the following work and be involved in other aspects, as assigned:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Developing and implementing company standards and protocols for all user documentation<br \/>\nprovided with products, such as developer guides, system administrator guides, installation guides,<br \/>\nAPI references, online Help and others<\/li>\n<li>Identifying, acquiring and using industry best-practice equipment, systems and programs for<br \/>\ncompleting and publishing all documentation deliverables<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Working with cross-functional partners, such as Product Management, Engineering and Technical<br \/>\nSupport to proactively evaluate product roadmaps and other plans for developing innovations;<br \/>\ncontributing a technical communications writer\u2019s perspective and providing such input and feedback<br \/>\ninto the development process<\/li>\n<li>Writing and executing against product development plans:<br \/>\no Uses departmental authoring techniques and tools and follows group standards and<br \/>\nprocesses<br \/>\no Researches and defines technical content requirements by analyzing product plans and<br \/>\ncoordinating with other departments, such as Product Management, Engineering, Technical<br \/>\nSupport and others<br \/>\no Maintains internal project glossaries<br \/>\no Develops technical content (product descriptions, user guides, online Help, technical<br \/>\ntraining and others) and\/or reviews documentation written by developers (especially for<br \/>\ngrammatical correctness)<br \/>\no Reviews GUI (graphical user interface) text elements<br \/>\no Supports other writers by peer reviewing content for accuracy, grammar, compliance to<br \/>\nstandards and other ad hoc needs<br \/>\no Assists other writers with editing tasks (as appropriate)<br \/>\no Verifies accuracy, completeness, consistency and maintainability of technical content by<br \/>\nreviewing content against builds and\/or internal releases<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>o Coordinates internal, cross-functional technical reviews and updates documentation as<br \/>\nappropriate prior to releasing products<br \/>\no When possible, solicits documentation feedback from customers or external partners and<br \/>\nupdates the documentation as appropriate<br \/>\no Maintains a schedule for assigned projects and delivers technical content on-time and on-<br \/>\ntarget (directly supports Product Management, Engineering, and other<br \/>\npartners\/stakeholders in ensuring product releases are completed on-time and without<br \/>\ncompromise to quality)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supporting internal and external partners\/stakeholders\/customers, as and when appropriate, in<br \/>\nresponding to technical content inquiries and\/or other ad hoc needs<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Working with the Localization team to coordinate localization schedules and the hand-off of<br \/>\ndocumentation files for translation; providing information about the document files as needed by<br \/>\nthe Localization team<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Conducting some technical user training (as and when requested\/appropriate)<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Conducting in-house usability tests of documentation (when possible)<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Staying abreast of industry and field developments; remaining current in the latest trends and best<br \/>\npractices for development, testing and publication of technical content, as well as ever-evolving<br \/>\nneeds of customers<br \/>\nWhile the job description describes what is anticipated as the requirements of the position, the job<br \/>\nrequirements are subject to change based upon any changing needs and requirements of the<br \/>\nbusiness.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Qualifications<br \/>\nCandidates for this position should hold the following qualifications, have the following experience, and<br \/>\nbe able to demonstrate the following competencies to be considered as a suitable applicant.
