Responsibilities
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
- Identify, record, document and track bugs
- Act as an SQA representative in discussions with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) when identifying/troubleshooting issues, recommending (product) improvements/proposed bug resolutions
- Work hand in hand with developers and product managers to understand new features to determine testing scope
- Work within teams across departments to identify, recommend and maintain quality assurance testing processes and practices; contribute to streamlined, more effective and efficient quality assurance testing
- Contribute, as appropriate, to downstream business activities such as technical publications and other technical communications’ tool development to ensure streamlined and effective end-user use of Kofax software products and their applications
Required Skills:
- Experience in functional, integration, system, security, performance, regression and user acceptance testing
- Ability to work autonomously
- Ability to investigate and troubleshoot issues effectively
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Experience in SQL DB and Microsoft tools (Visual Studio, Excel, etc.…)
- Experience with Server/Client and enterprise environments within a variety of operating systems and networks
- Strong technical knowledge
- Experience in Agile
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment, liaising w. members across multiple sites/time zones
- Excellent knowledge of English, written and spoken
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is strongly preferred
- Typically has 3 to 5 years’ relevant technical experience
