Responsibilities

• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Identify, record, document and track bugs
• Act as an SQA representative in discussions with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) when identifying/troubleshooting issues, recommending (product)  improvements/proposed bug resolutions
• Work hand in hand with developers and product managers to understand new features to determine testing scope
• Work within teams across departments to identify, recommend and maintain quality assurance testing processes and practices; contribute to streamlined, more effective and efficient quality assurance testing
• Contribute, as appropriate, to downstream business activities such as technical publications and other technical communications’ tool development to ensure streamlined and effective end-user use of Kofax software products and their applications

Required Skills:

• Experience in functional, integration, system, security, performance, regression and user acceptance testing
• Ability to work autonomously
• Ability to investigate and troubleshoot issues effectively
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Experience in SQL DB and Microsoft tools (Visual Studio, Excel, etc.…)

• Excellent knowledge of English, written and spoken

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is strongly preferred
• Typically has 3 to 5 years’ relevant technical experience

Job Responsibilities:

Senior Software Developer participates in the architecture, design, documentation, development, coding, and debugging of client-server software solutions in either new software products or enhancements to existing software, under the general direction of his or her direct supervisor (team lead).

• Conducting research, where appropriate and needed, to solve specific design problems
• Work independently, or in a group under the direction of a team lead, creating modules, design documentation, subsystems or applications in C#, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS, but occasionally also using other development tools
• Work with various operating platforms (Windows, Linux, Docker, Azure etc.) meeting high performance, security, and scalability expectations.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Support production users
• Document his or her work in English
• Participate regular team meetings and/or conference calls
• Effective communication and relationships with other developers and the QA team

Location Budapest

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional experience as a software developer
• Solid knowledge of ASP.NET Standard and Core is necessary (WebAPI, REST, MVC)
• Working knowledge of version control systems (TFVC, Git)
• Firsthand experience with a combination of various other technologies and platforms, such as, TCP/IP, XML, AJAX, JavaScript, SQL, Entity Framework, WEB servers (IIS) and WEB browsers (Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Opera) is also required
• Experience in multithreaded and networked software development
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Experience with virtualization technologies
• Solid understanding of Azure and other technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
